I also mentioned the only thing i splurge on is my car hobby, the only thing my wife splurges on is clothes/handbags. I pay my credit cards off every month so all my credit card points are pretty much free money. Splurging does not equal no self control. I can afford to splurge on a few things because I am thrifty with everything else.
I don't know the price of milk because I know the cheapest brand is the Great Value brand at Wal-Mart and so i grab a couple of the and throw them in the cart.
Anything else, Columbo? LOL

I get Oil and Gas Royalties so when prices go up so do my checks... By no means am I getting rich off it, but it TOTALLY covers any economical increases due to high gas prices.

Still would like to see them stable... I feel for the 18 wheel truck drivers the most...
