My opinion is that if you are really concerned with mpg then you shouldnt be in the market for a muscle car no matter who makes it

I've said it before...and I might be wrong, but I think once the Camaro hits dealers you will see the Challengers drop in price. Anyway, sweet car. I surely wouldn't mind having one! Congrats!

Sorry but the shifter reminds me of a woody. :( Won't see me driving one of those in the near future.

Yes, it could have been worse...he could have bought a freakin Japanese tin can POS. I don't care if it's Chrysler, Ford or GM, BUY AMERICAN. BTW, nice ride, I am a GM homer and will get a Camaro, but thanks for buying AMERICAN.:flag2:

Does anyone think GM will be offering any incentives on the Camaro? I'm not looking forward to paying +7% APR.

Not immediately, but I bet there will be some a year or so after its release.

I'm jealous, it's sharp. Until my retirement went in the tank, etc. I have to admit to looking at the Dodge lot after hours at a beautiful black RT.

PS. All these dealer shots don't do it for me, lets see some tire-smoke!

that's not what most of the the general public want they want a fast car that gets good mpgs

A muscle car enthusiasts just wants a Fire breathing v8 in there car

As for me if i would buy a v8 right now insurance would kill me

so its the v6 camaro for me

or if the phoenix engine comes out for the chally i will have to test drive it

I give the seats a 8 out of 10. I still think they could look better but they are really nice.
But the shifter and the steering wheel are just horrible.
The steering wheel is exactly like my Durango's. I would feel like I'm driving an SUV in it.

either way good luck with your car.

First report....

I dont pick up my car until Saturday, however I drove on just like it today for a considerable amount of time. Here is what I found

LOVE THE SEATS.....Didi I mention I love the seats yet???

The clutch is smooth and engages smooth at about 70 percent travel.

The kicker 13 speaker system is amazing for a factory system

Shifting was a bit clunky on the t6060, but overall not bad

The u connect GPS was awesome, but kinda complicated to use. I am sure I will figure it out in a day or two.

The ride quality is surprisingly good, It is firm, but still soaks up bumps nicley

The handling is good not great, but good. I can tell you for a fact the G8 will out handle it.

Slight body roll going into a corner, but it never felt like it was going to "let go"

The car sounds amazing under a load. Much louder than any other stock car I have ever heard.

The keyless ignition is kind of a gimmick. I would rather have a key

The performance computer timers are neat, but I am sure they are off a little.
