i'm finally done with the move and found a great gym. been going there 3-4 times a week for the last four weeks or so now. 1,5 hours of workout + 1 hour of biking/running.

can't get rid of pizza and beer though remember: you can't spell "diet" without "die"

How ridiculous is the Ab Ripper? I love that workout. 15 minutes of pure abdominal pain.

Since around December I've been on a mass-building routine. I started out at 145 (but I was skinny-fat since I had lost a lot of weight from my youth but in a bad, unhealthy way) and had no muscle. I got all my newb gains along with my original lean mass back and am at 157 now with slow but steady progression. I would like to stop at around 175-180 before I begin to cut off these last stubborn pounds of fat the right way with a goal of around 10% BF. I'm aiming more towards a fairly buff model physique more than a powerful bodybuilder shape.

I'm on a clean bulking diet (eating a lot but only healthy foods) intaking roughly 275 grams of protein a day (only two servings coming from powders) and around 3,000 calories, but unfortunately my gains are very slow... sometimes so slow that I wonder if I am eating enough. Good thing is, I have not appeared to have gained an ounce of fat with it. Ironically when comparing to my childhood, I think I might possibly be an ectomorph like Xanthos clearly is. Afterall, my childhood chubbiness could be explained by the fact that I would very commonly go through entire bags of Snickers and Reeses. xD

I will join too. 6' 5". Started at 348 lbs. I have been going to the gym for a little over 2 weeks. Down to 337 lbs. I have been a big guy since birth and the lightest I have been since adulthood was 265 lbs. I also quit smoking and eating fast food. Currently trying to quit drinking soda, before I would drink 2 cans a day. But after starting this healthy crusade I am checking calories in everything. Its funny after I workout it just makes me feel so good, I should have been doing this years ago. GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY.

I'll start doing P90X in a month or so (probably going to stretch it to 'P101X' by adding a week to each segment). A guy from work did it and gave me the disks. I'm so out of shape now that I can only do about half pace. Buuut another friend has that 10 min workout set by the same trainer. I figure that should get me into good enough condition to get serious about this. So, start date is going to be tomorrow night. I'll start my 'P101X' on April 12th and my last day will be August 1st.

P90X is no joke, I'm about 70 days in and really glad I started doing it. I will admit that I don't do the diet at all, and do skip days here and there, and never do the yoga, but I am still seeing results. Only advice I'd give someone starting out is don't kill yourself on it the first week or two because then you'll just give up, which is what a lot of people I know did. I probably didn't even start going all out until about a month in, but after that it has been great. After I get through this 90 days I actually have a vacation planned and then I plan on doing another 90 when I get back.

Not quite, basically it gives me more time to 'plateau' so those weeks will be a little easier on my body. Thats the idea at least.

220 about 1 month ago...down to 210 now. Trying to get down to 200. Here is me at about 215...it's a bitch to lose the fat on your stomach. Going to increase my cardio workout to 4 days a week on the stationary bike and 10 mile ride on Sundays:
