Eh, not really. I'm conservative but we need to stop kidding ourselves by claiming one outlet or pundit or another has a monopoly on objective news. Short of merging the New York Times with the Wall Street Journal, I can't point to one outlet I would say is totally neutral. You have to consider multiple sources, then arrive at your own conclusion.

Government subsidizes plenty of stuff: corn, mortgage interest, student loans, charitable donations, etc. Is your argument that any tax benefit for something is bad?

Just as impressive to me is the difference in fuel economy: M3 14/20; 16 combined. Mustang 5.0 17/26; 20 combined.

That's the problem right now. Without $4+ a gallon gasoline, the incentive just isn't there. I think this technology needs to be tried, but the timing right now could kill it. It all depends on where the gasoline prices are in the next year or two.
