I have to admit, sometimes it's difficult not to read fanboy in your posts, but too many times you make complete sense. It's very hard to be objective with a subject that draws so much passion. Regarding the history lesson(s), I've been jealous of SVT products since they've been making crazy power and like getting a better understanding how they got there.

No offense to anyone with the outgoing model, but except for GT500 models, I just thought there were too many flat (relatively) panels. The new one has more character, although I like the generation the outgoing model likens itself after, IMVHO.

And you have proven that you are doing a lot with very little!

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."
