Any idea on price?
We are testing some other configurations today. The goal now is to keep all of our gains up high while increasing power on the low end.
I don't think we are allowed to post pricing in this section, but we expect it to be about the same as our ZL1 intake system.

A few of you have asked about our system's ability to accept the factory sound enhancing tube. Here are a couple pictures from today in between data logging runs that show some major changes we have made, including:

-The addition of our polymer elbow molded with the ability to couple to your intake sound enhancing tube. The design looks nice and doesn't impede airflow.

-A completed MAF sensor housing.

[IMG][/IMG]

The MAF housing and elbow are complete in form, but lack the texture finish that our production intake will feature.

Looks like it's coming along.
Too bad the elbow for the sound tube couldn't be on the side. Givebit a super clean look.

For those wanting a cleaner look, our sound enhancer delete kit will not only eliminate the fitting on the inlet elbow, but will also eliminate the "snorkel" tubing going back to the firewall. This may also aid in eliminating any unwanted or annoying intake sounds. That being said, our intake doesn't seem to have the annoying sounds which apparently accompany some other aftermarket intake systems.
We have tested our intake with the sound enhancer disconnected and it still has a throaty, powerful sound under acceleration.

Here are the hood closed dyno sheets from our most recent configuration. We are satisfied with the performance at higher RPMs. As previously stated, we are working on the mid range performance now. We expect even greater gains at higher RPMs when we dial in the mid range performance. This CAI system will be worth the wait! It is our sincere hope that Camaro owners will wait for and compare third-party testing before making a purchasing decision.

Thanks to JDP Motorsports for the valuable feedback on our system.

Blue line is Roto-fab, red line is stock air intake

Roto-fab gains 20+ HP over stock at higher RPMs

Looking good! Not worried about peak hp but definitely more of a gain in the power band which looks good here! Update if you get any more news!

That looks great to me! Slows down the drop off in the upper rpms. It's fantastic what better breathing can achieve. Great job!

This is an outstanding system and it will be worth the wait. Roto-Fab takes a lot of pride in their products. They won't release it until it does exactly what they want it to and what Roto-Fab customers expect it to do! Stay tuned!!

Kind regards,
