Apparently I should have done drugs. Everyone I know from school who did drugs now has a job in our field and here I am....

you have a job in your career, just give it some time and get the experience. You haven't been out of school very long.

I'm not sure how your correlated the two. It's like saying your friends ate pickles. So they must be good at ice skating.
