Barton, you get a rod... small pic on far right at bottom, and the one at the bottom with parts laid on a sheet for install...

Hurst, you get a rod, small pic next to the Barton...

Both of those install into the existing cast shifter body from the factory...

With the MGW, there is a completely cnc machined housing, with internal centering springs. From first to second, second to third, third to fourth, it is virtually impossible to miss a shift... When the shifter is new, going from 5th to sixth takes conscious effort due to the spring strength. You have to hold the shifter to the right as you shift as it want to come back to center,,, again, this is when very new...

Engineered wear compensation... I have 1500 or so on my shifter and it is getting easier all the time... The shifts are very precise, and the shifter makes no noise that I can detect...

I am including pictures of what comes with each... The MGW doesnt show all of the layers of sound deadening that comes with it, since you are going right in over the exhaust pipes... Buy it is amazing what all is there...

Yes, there are three points of attachment for the MGW, the same three as the factory cast housing...

Two points of note, to me, the hardest part of the install was getting the %&$%& clips off the forward legs of the factory housing, and access... They mention you have to lower the transmission, not to worry, this is accomplished simple by removing the rear crossmember, and it settles plenty to make the install possible. The space it tight, but I managed it laying on my back in the driveway... The instructions are very clear as well...

I couldn't be any happier with my purchase... now if Chevrolet sorts out my transmixer problems, I'm good to go for some forced induction, cam, exhaust, intake, etc.... etc, etc, etc,,,,,,, a year or two down the road.. a year at the rate they have me working...
