Just in case you may have thought the refs kept the Patriots in the game last week......you would be right and then some

Flags proved harmful to Buffalo Bills against New England Patriots in Week 16
Writing this article pushed Buffalo back 15 yards

As usual Skarecrow does a great job breaking things down.

Lots of speculation around Hurts and the EAGLES loss. They lost to a pretty good team (whit a cheap shot and no call) with a meh backup QB and the loss of a key defensive back (dumb ass).

This is still a team learning the new systems and they are 12-3, in the playoffs and a key SB contender.

A week with the backup on 1st team reps will have different result.

Well I think we found out a few things yesterday.

The Texans and Steelers are pretenders not contenders.

Lamont deserves the MVP statistically which the did not deserve last year.

If your going to give it to the guy with the most wins then Mahomee should get it with his just above average stats.

But look at that team and the D and surrounding cast on offence then look at the Bills D

I would actually prefer that JA17 doesn't win the MVP this year.

Yes you heard that right.

He deserved it last year and in 2021 when he was statistically better than the winner.(except TO's in 2023)

Give it to Lamont or Barkley

JA17 winning would be like them admitting the whole thing is a sham.

I want the Super Bowl and as the only team to beat both the AFC leader and the NFC leader the Bills have an edge.

One of my favorite players from the drought era (2000-2017) Terrence McGee will be the "Legend of the Game" for the home finale against the Jets.

I have his replica jersey which I wore to games way back when.

I used to buy only 1st or 2nd round players but that changed with McGee I also bought Fred Jackson (UDFA) and Kyle Williams DT (Rnd 5)

Some years I didn't even buy the 1st or 2nd because the picks were so bad LOL

Terrence was not only a top notch cornerback he was also a game changing kick and punt returner in an era with not a lot to cheer for.

McGee was drafted by the Bills in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft. The defensive back and return specialist still holds records for the Buffalo Bills in career kickoff return yards (5,450), return touchdowns (5), longest kickoff return touchdown (104), most career fumble return yards (106) and most passes defended (99).

Welcome back Terrence enjoy your day.

Bart Scott former Jets LB turns "First Take" into Worst Take

Talking about the MVP race between Lamont and Josh he pipes in with one of the stupidest hot takes of all time.

Would winning MVP mean more for Lamar or Allen?

Per Scott, who almost sounded unprepared to say what he did:

“If... if Josh Allen leaves — and, and gets knocked out of the playoffs, and he wins MVP... he’s probably gonna see that as a successful season ‘cause he proved that he didn’t need a number one. If Lamar Jackson gets the MVP and loses, he’ll view that as a disappointment. So that lets you know how the two probably even views their success with the MVP different.”

My Take

I guess you you really don't know Josh as a player or a person you washed up has been and maybe never was been.

His goal this year was and is the SB not personal glory

Great read for JA17 fans on ESPN

I think this little story describes who Josh is as a person

IN 1976, JOSH'S grandfather, Buzz, donated land to build what would become Firebaugh High School. Before that, kids from Firebaugh had to attend Dos Palos High, which was a good 15 miles away. Naturally, when the schools split, an intense rivalry was born between the two, with Dos Palos dominating for years.

When Buzz died in 2014, Firebaugh played Dos Palos three months later on what would have been his birthday. The week of the game, Josh pulled his dad aside. "I'm going to give you the greatest gift ever," he said. "We're going to beat Dos Palos."

Joel appreciated the confidence ... but come on? Dos Palos? Josh's Firebaugh team had gotten thumped 42-6 the year before.

But Josh came through. He threw for 356 yards and four touchdowns, and Firebaugh won 52-28. After the game, Joel cried on the field. He tried not to. He tried to rub his eyes and purse his lips and avoid the tears. But he couldn't stop it.

"I'm a big baby," Joel says. "And I couldn't hold it in that day."

I like this one as well

BEFORE PLAYING IN the 2017 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, Wyoming and Central Michigan faced off in a bowling alley. The starting offenses and defenses for both teams would bowl, and then they would see who had the highest combined scores at the end.

Josh had missed the final two regular-season games with a sprained right shoulder and was the last person to bowl. Wyoming needed a strike or it would lose the game. Things had gotten chippy between the two teams throughout the game, so the tension was rising.

No pressure.

Josh stood up, took the ball, threw it and didn't even watch to see how many pins he hit. Instead, he turned around and walked off, of course hitting a perfect strike.

His teammates went wild celebrating. He brought a level of confidence, swagger back to the team.

The coaches picked up on it the next day at practice, noticing the team looked completely different.

The Cowboys went on to win 37-14, with Josh throwing three touchdown passes and being named MVP.

Up on the stage after the game, accepting his MVP trophy, Josh was asked, "What's next for you?"

His teammates yelled, "Do it! Do it!"

After a pause and with a smile, Josh said, "I will be declaring for the 2018 NFL draft."

The Bengals path to the playoffs

Here's what must happen for Cincinnati:

The Bengals still need to win their final game of the season, against the Steelers in Pittsburgh in Week 18.(Steelers could be playing for division)

The Bengals also need the Broncos to lose in Denver to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18.(KC could be resting plenty of starters)

The Bengals also need the Miami Dolphins and the Indianapolis Colts to lose at least one more regular-season game. Both teams could turn to backup quarterbacks Sunday.

Indianapolis faces the New York Giants on the road Sunday, and Jacksonville at home in Week 18.(considering NYG have failed to win one home game yet why start now? and the Colts lost by a FG in Jax Wk 5)

Miami visits the Browns in Cleveland on Sunday, and the New York Jets on the road in Week 18.(well the Fins do not fair well in north this time of year and the Jets could be real salty after getting blown out in BLO today)

If you got a spare Benjamin Franklin kicking around you might hit big in Vegas taking the striped cats to make it(not likely)

Carson Wentz will most likely be the QB

Like I said earlier in a post the Jets are going to be good and salty after getting blown out in BLO(I posted that at 7:12 am yesterday)

Rodgers is sitting at TD #499 after getting shut out.

Tie Rod came in and got a couple of garbage time TD's against every backup defensive player the Bills had dressed

Nice moment when McD called Tie Rod over to the Bills sideline after the first TD then gave him a big hug and whispered something to him

Poormans I am pulling for the Fins to take the 7th seed.

Unfortunately its for all the right reasons for the Bills and the wrong reasons for you and the Fins

I think the Fins are the easiest path to round 2 although I do not fear any of these 3 teams as all of them are very flawed and I am pretty sure almost all of them have zero wins against playoff teams this year

In more epic greatness and one offs for our MVP QB

Allen is the only quarterback to have five back-to-back seasons with 40 or more scores. He’s also the only quarterback to have done it four times. In fact, only one player in history – Drew Brees – has three consecutive seasons (2011, 2012, 20013). Tom Brady had back-to-back seasons (2020, 2021) with 40-plus touchdowns, and Aaron Rodgers accomplished the feat twice – first in the 2011, 2012 seasons and then again in the 2020, 2021 seasons.

BTW JA17 is also the winningest QB in his first 7 years (Mahomee redshirted all but one game so it does count as a season and this is season 8)

The Bills 2025 home and away schedule is out

AFCN and NFCS plus all the division winners and of course 6 AFCE games

https://www.buffalobills.com/news/bu...d-nfl-schedule

HOME:

Baltimore Ravens
Cincinnati Bengals
Kansas City Chiefs
Miami Dolphins
New England Patriots
New Orleans Saints
New York Jets
Philadelphia Eagles
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
AWAY:

Atlanta Falcons
Carolina Panthers
Cleveland Browns
Houston Texans
Miami Dolphins
New England Patriots
New York Jets
Pittsburgh Steelers I am looking forward to this one as the last time they went there they were leading the crowd singing and dancing to "Renegade"

My friend who was at the game said the Steelers fans were in shock....they were more shocked when right after the celebration JA17 took the Bills on an 80 yard TD drive.

The now ultra shocked Steelers fans said no one does this to us....ever LMAO
