The ammo that I wanted from my favorite online supplier that was out of stock yesterday, is mysteriously in stock today, lol.

A certain event has made the expansion of gun rights much more likely, instead of a major assault.

Yeah the need to stock up on mags and semi auto gun related items has passed. The scare will go down and so will prices. Inventory will start to come back into stock of hard to get firearms. Hopefully the current suppressor surge of getting easier and almost encouraged will continue. This will be a good 4 years for gun owners. Hillary would have pulled a Bill on us and anything black would have been outlawed again.

Can you or do you know the difference between power river precision trigger and springer precision for springfield? Since springer precision specializes in springfield's thought I would try that route the current springfields and the 9mm version.
I have not tried the Springer Precision trigger, but to me it is more of a piece by piece purchase and the trigger bar seems to be their main focus vs the sear of PRP. I do know lots of people like them, maybe more customizable.

I went with PRP because of the more complete trigger packages and the rave reviews on XD Talk forum, once I installed one on my XDS I had to get one for a XDM. I liked the XDM trigger so much had no reason to get anything different. Plus all my XDM's now have a similar weight trigger pull and break, 100% better than stock.

I do not blame you for staying with the same trigger once you found one you liked. Same reason I stay with springfield's because they fit like 1911's in my hand. I will do a little more research since I have time before I buy the 9mm for a can. That whole setup will be expensive. Probably close to 2k with trigger, gun, and can with tax stamp. Maybe even add the small red dot. Would be a solid shooting pistol though.

Well unless I wait for the new bill to take effect and no more $200 tax stamp just a local dealer transfer fee. That will take some of the cost of suppressors down and alot easier.

I wouldn't care if they charged $200 more per suppressor. It beats the multi-month wait now of NFA items. The wait is why I don't have more and its only gotten worse since 41P was enacted. Prior, it took me four months to get the stamp for my SBR.

In honor of the happy event we can't name, I spent $700 on reloading supplies. I was going to buy them anyway but it made me happy knowing there will be future supplies when I need more.

The XDM threaded barrel model is cool and Springer Precision makes a red dot mount that fits into the rear sight-dovetail.

If I would have gone that rout though I would have just got the competition model, the mount looked a little more solid with the recess in the slide after removing the adjustable sight, not to mention would probably sit a little lower.

As you mentioned, all the mods start adding up, but what the heck they are fun to work on and as you say solid shooting pistols.

Looking at getting a PRP trigger group for my XDs 9. How is the install??

I already have a Colt LE6920 AR but wondering if I should add another one before gun laws may kick in...
