The Biggest advantage especially when in an apartment building is that it is less common. Since a lot of devices use 2.4GHz (e.g. A wireless mouse, wireless internet, controllers, etc..) it leads to a lot of traffic and congestion.

not really. when in the bedroom, which is the furthest away from the modem/router I can get, I get about 2.xx download speed. Less than that if Nicole is streaming in the living room. I'm a little upset that even when she's streaming, that i'm getting so little speed, since I purchased the 100Mbps package. when I do the speed test on the 5Ghz band with the Dell XPS 18, it shows 106+ download speed. lol it's cooking with grease!

well, i'm still lagging when playing myVegas games and trying to stream on the phone in the bedroom. Let me figure that out, and then if we have no issues, I can try going back down to 50Mbps.
