Funny thing is, if this wasn't the Patriots....if it was the Colts or the Packers or the Cardinals..... all these Pats fans would be screaming the same things the rest of us non-Pats fans are screaming about the Patriots.

And whether or not any of them really have a clue, they sincerely dodged a bullet with the NFL on this report regardless. 1 season without Belichick, anywhere from 8 games to a full season without Tom Brady, possibly additional personnel suspended....and they could have gone for more in this....because the Saints got much worse for honestly, nothing worse than the whole DeflateGate scenario.

Was the football deflation a big deal? Not even close really in my eyes. In truth, I stand by what I have said from day one.....had Tommy boy not lied about it like he did and acted all cocky while saying it.... and had simply said it was not something we tried to do on purpose.... it wouldnt have even mattered...

Instead, we got a bunch of people crying conspiracy... you have arguably the best team in football since the late 80's/early 90's Niners and you want to cry conspiracy?

Ugh, well here goes......

I feel let down by Mr. Kraft today big time.

With that, none of this matters anymore. Maybe Brady gets the suspension down to 2 games, but Kraft eating it today cements that the Patriots are taking guilt in this matter. No other way to read into it. I did in fact read all of the Wells report and there are several curious things about it (logo gauge dismissal, etc) but it's all just talk now. Either Kraft did not want to escalate the matter vs. the NFL (which would be a big deal) or he knows more than I think and it's worse than I think.

I was wrong and can admit it.

Hopefully after next week things can get back to actual football.

The way I figure Goodell said well there's this, this and this. Kraft responded with only $1M? You got it. Do you validate parking?

There's no way he was willing to eat crow and lose the money and picks just to get the subject changed. He's not that rich...

You still have a great team, and that division is still wide open. All it takes is a hard effort and your team could easily be in the drivers seat with some upsets and then Brady will return...

OR, as we saw with Brady taking over for Bledsoe.....maybe the new guy keeps the job...

Oh god, Jimmy G...... he looked better than Ryan Mallet last preseason and folks around here think he is the next great QB, LOL too funny. Reality check on opening night for sure.
