We needed this one given we don't usually perform under the bright lights or in bowl games.
But either way, I like the Colorado so we're still cool

That's good to know. I installed the last one anyway and really like it. For me it eliminates having all the dividers and such that I think may be a PITA to keep up with. The lock is a plus too.

I can't find a pic now but I remember seeing a rendering with the tool box installed. I want that and the tubular side steps. Those look badass. They took Laser Blue off the list but I think it will show up. Or at least I hope it does.

I want it so I can move around my kayak and 2 or 3 of my friends' kayaks when needed.

Agree on sidestep... they did say blue would be delayed. I think I'm going to wait and see some of this stuff before I order.

I agree they have to target the people who dont want a full size regardless. However there is also the potential customer like me. I need/want a truck. I don't really need it to tow anything, I need the bed, and I need the interior space for when it comes time to start a family. After doing my research and finding out that the Colorado Crew cab is basically the same size as a Full size double cab, that makes the choice even tougher. basically what I am saying is that if the full size offers me what I need, has the same or better MPG, and is going to be more capable(Even though I admit I don't need those full capabilities) for only a few thousand more, I am going to pick the full size every time. Picking the midsize would feel like settling to me. The F-150 I would want came out 38K ( lets even bump that to 40K for a 15 with the 2.7 Eco) and my Colorado came out to 36... That full size truck is only 4 grand more list price, with no incentives taken. to me, that midsize truck just became a super tough sell to me |

I'm a fan of both sizes of truck. I just personally don't like the driving of the full sizes. I prefer the midsize (and if it was still around) the true small trucks like the s10 an Rangers. There is also the market of people who will be deciding between these and SUVs/crossovers who might come over to it because its hot as large as a full size, but has the bed and is equivalent in cost and FE to the crossover/SUV and will buy it. That's a huge potential market too. But I think we all agree we should wait for the sales numbers first.
