Sounds good. I have the products already too. Still need to order that Flex for the next polish/wax job... Thanks again guys.

Have 6 hours into my car detail so far and I have the whole car stripped, and the hood, front bumper, front quarters polished. Probably going to upwards of 15hours total for the complete detail, but hey you have to love black and the inherent job it is to get it back to absolute perfection.

Since this is the place where you guys that know about detailing hang out, I wanted to ask what can I use to clean my vinyl stripes. They are stained. Idk with what. Either water or some other thing. I really do not want to replace the stripes with new one. Thanks a lot in advance

You can try some vinegar and water, maybe some diluted apc.

My guess is you'll be replacing them though. Once vinyl is damaged, it's done. That's why I don't have any on my car.

Wow. That was quick. Thanks. I am guessing the same. Tried vinegar and it didn't work. But by apc u mean simple green?

Simple green is similar to an Apc. I'd dilute it 5:1 and try it. Try a small area first as vinyl is fickle and you might stain it.

Then again it's already stained so maybe you'd have nothing to lose. Just wanted to warn you before you try it.

You can also use something like VRT or another plastic treatment that might cover up the spots. Won't fix it but might mask it

That's an Adams product. You can also look into Poorboys Natural Look.

Adams Super VRT works great on matte black. I use it on my whole hood on my 1LE. Only thing you will need to do is wipe it down with a clean MF towel after you apply it. It can get a real "greasy" look to it.

Which one would u recommend best? And these two would just mask it mainly? I will try simple green and see what happens.
