I still find it amazing how British actors can loose their accents to play these parts. They also did it well in Battlestar Galatica.

Possible new faces/threats/allies this season?

Seth Gilliam as Father Gabriel Stokes (another initially misguided soul)

Christine Woods as Dawn???? (runs a tight police force. But I'd let her arrest me)

Teri Wyble as Shepherd??? (one of Dawn's minions)

Erik Jensen as Dr. Edwards (hospital doctor)???

Christopher Cook as Lincari??? (another Dawn minion)

Rico Ball as Franco??? (another Dawn minion)

Tyler James Williams as Noah??? (Dawn's go-fer)

Maximilano Hernandez as Lamson? (yet another Dawn minion)

I love this show!!!!! Aside from Mad Men, it is the only TV show I watch. I can't stand commercials but I suffer through them because the show is great. Can't wait for October!!

DVR it, or record it somehow, and then watch it later and skip through the commercials. But I know what you mean.

A lot more action, both bad guys and zombies this season. Answers to a lot of questions from last season will be answered in the first episode. And a shocking mid-season finale! Gonna be fun!

One conversation a friend and I have been discussing is about the zombies. His argument is that at some point the zombies have to dry up..literally. He hunts and feels that once something dies that the clock starts to tick before the body of the corpse disintegrates. I argue that the show has shown zombie the slow down and stop moving when not persuading fresh meat and enter a type of hibernation.

After thinking about it, I almost have to agree with him, zombies cannot be a to keep going like the show portrays. What do you all think?

I've read many zombie novels and there was one or two that stated that whatever it was that caused the disease could keep them going almost indefinitely. Though many do talk about them slowing down or even freezing in the winter.

I think it's impossible to create muscle flex (hence animation in movement) with blood that does not oxygenate. So the blood will coagulate creating muscle tissue that is impossible to retract and hence zombies are impossible.

But that's just me....................

No!!!! They're real, ok? Don't you watch the show?

Technically speaking, Kirkman and Greg Nicotero (special effects master) already made plans for the upcoming season to show more of the "aging" zombies since more time has passed after the apocalypse started. The zombies can/will starve in the show, but much slower than a live human would. They deteriorate as well. But since we're in Bizzaro world where this could possibly happen, think too that not EVERYONE dies at the same time, thus there are different decay states of the zombies. As more live ones bite the big one without brain trauma, they'll be the freshest dead ones (walkers, biters, skin eaters, etc.-- they NEVER use the term "zombie" on the show)

Now where the heck did they put Beth.... and Carol ends up meeting Mary.

Only 8 days to the season premeire!!!
