After you guys got me all excited about getting another shotgun I decided to hit a couple shops this weekend.

Did not find a KSG or DP-12 that I was supposed to be looking for.........but I picked up another 870 now I have to start working it over, moding it to get it just right.................Almost left with a Benelli M2, but want to handle a DP-12 and I really didn't need another one right now.

I was looking for a 870 when I happened across the Benelli Super Nova. I love this shotgun. It has a button on the bottom of the pump that lets you combat load right into the chamber without fouling the magazine tube.

Fostech Echo Trigger System. This should make AR ownership interesting.

Any Ar-15 owners here played around with the slide fire stock? Was always interested in those.

Anyone own a Steyr L Series in a 9MM or .40S&W? Opinions? I have their M40 and really love it... it was my Texas CC for 5 years, before moving to CO.

Looking at getting a fs 9mm or .40, and going back and forth between it and a S&W M&P.

Steyrs are great pistols, way underappreciated. I had an S9A1 I carried for about a year before selling it to a friend. I keep looking at the L9A1 as my next 9mm. Same operation as a GLOCK, but superior ergonomics.

Now if it would be available and dependable. I'd have one. Everytime I try to get one they are no where to be found unless I want to pay an extra few hundred for it.
Thank you for the response. I guess this is similar to what I was thinking. They have the cool factor for sure. Just hard to dump 1K on a pump shot gun. Although I just bought to Saiga 12's and looking next year if good reviews picking up a fostech 12. lol

I have not used one on a AR-15. Although I have on a AK. To play around it is fun. Accuracy definitely suffers and ruins your MOA. Easy enough to switch them back and forth. Be a good idea to just put it on a cheap AR. If I switched stocks would have to readjust aiming points every time.

Fostech Origin 12 is over 2 grand and your worried about 1 grand on a pump? You can find KSGs for $800-$900. At least they aren't in the $1300-$1400 range anymore.

I have a Mossy 500 with a 28" vent-rib barrel for clays and a Remmy 870 Express with a 28" vent-rib for the same purpose.

Gotta say, now owning and shooting over a thousand rounds through both (more like 5K rounds through the Mossy since I've had it longer), I prefer the 500 to the 870.

Aesthetically, the 870 is a little more attractive, but the location of the action lock release and the firing safety are both inferior to the respective locations on the 500. Behind the gun while shooting clays, they both perform equally and have been equally reliable (although my 870 has only about 1200 rounds through it).
