kinda funny......i had an idiot in a v6 challenger which has 250hp i think try to race me in my mustang. he was like dude i have 35 more hp than you. i was like yeah ok ill bet you 50 bucks i win take it or leave it.

so we raced a good 1/4 mile and i beat him by a good car lengh. yanno why? cuz he is like 600lbs more than me and his tranny is geared by a retard.

however the srt8 i drove.......that was sweet.

Which one puts sales over performance? I'd have to say from a business standpoint that the Mustang has been known to be at the back of the pack in performance while leading in sales. It might be a good platform for doing business, but it is a shame that its the only sports car out there to fail in the sports category time after time. It's funny how good marketing can make even the failure of the herd a winner.

I respect Ford for doing good business, but I wish their cars were equally good cars.

Ford mortgaged the entire company to avoid having to take out loans. They're not out of the deep yet. If the US market doesn't crack 10.5 million units, Ford already said they'll need loans.

ok honestly. who cares about performance numbers when its not a pony or a vette? the only performace numbers you should care about for a sedan are gas mileage and maybe emissions. for my family car i could give a shit less how much power it has as long as it last me a long time and gets me good MPG.

i only care about power if i drive a truck or sports car.

so when it comes to family cars or suv's. looks are a big deal.

Seriously though the new body panels help that Mustang out a huge amount. Giving it hips, and a more aggressive front rake along with a bulged hood made that sucker looks light years better. I will interested to see what this famed direct injection 5.0 liter is going to put out.

The camaro looks nicer But I hate to say it ford has GM beat on technology. THe nav system with the advanced sync is incredible. You can do spit screen, half nav, and even view live traffic, or even a map of your area and a weather radar. Watch DVDs when not in gear, Voice command it like nothing else. ITs lightyears ahead of the camaro. now power. Um sorry. GM hands down.

yea im sure they aint struggling at all are they???? lol gt500's have dropped about 20k in the last year. everyones struggling dude. btw modulars are nasty when it comes to forced induction!!! but na against an lsx motor lol alotta 5.0 feelings will get hurt.

never said not struggling. EVERYONE is struggling. but at least they are not at the brink of destruction (being GOV. owned is destruction).

do you guys really trust the GOV to produce cars you will love? no they will come out with ugly things and the only thing good about them will be the MPG.
