Yup, you got both parts right... Cold air is more dense than warm air. CAI draws air from the grill area rather than under the hood. Under hood air is warmer due to the engine creating heat. The more air you can shove into the cylinder, the better potential to make power.... You'll probably run into A/F (air/fuel) ratio's too eventually. Not at all. Actually, at 426hp, the car is plenty stout from the factory for the majority of buyers. I'd recommend no upgrades till the warrantee runs out, unless you're the one in 100 that can afford to pay cash for the car and don't care about the warrantee.

I've been to a dirt track... it was ok. honestly I think I'll get a bigger charge watching the guys doing something they have a passion for. Y'all are fun when you're excited about something
