Does anyone know if the Patriots made it to AZ yet? If not they are stuck up in NE for a while.

I imagine they are there in AZ already though. They prep better than that.

You may think it's unimportant to follow the rules...and that when you break them they don't apply to you. I'm not like that. If I break the rules, I have no problems dealing with the consequences.

I do believe this was more than a 1 game thing...which will likely be only proven circumstantially. Yet, just like O.J., you look at the evidence...and what we've seen and heard so far just do not look good for the Pats.

We'll see what happens. As I said, I look forward to what the forensics guys find not only for the Indy game...but for previous games as well.

they got here around 3pm local time yesterday and by 5:30 they were having a press conference. Kraft came out and said he believe's Brady and Belichick and the NFL is going to owe them an apology. Belichick came and said he has nothing more to say about the footballs. Then Brady came out and mostly smiled and thanked Kraft and answered questions about other thing's.

Actually, I find that many of the tweets and reporting have generally been spot on recently when quoting sources in the NFL. Remember Ray Rice? Several reporters were tweeting about how the NFL had the videos, and other information that proved correct.

So...yes, I'm not going after "court of law" facts...but NFL facts. The commissioner has more leeway in his penalties than a court of law.

I find it interesting that the Indy footballs tested in range (12.5 - 13.5 PSI which is 1 PSI range), so even if Luck wanted his balls at 13.5, to drop the same amount as the Patriots footballs would mean that they would have been 11.5 PSI...which is outside the limits of this rule. So Belichick is talking out his ass with his "explanation". Since the NFL likely still has all those balls, they can also test then in the same conditions as when they were gauged before the game.

Most telling for me was Brady's press conference, especially the "Do you cheat", "I don't think so" answer. Seriously, Brady looked like a guy caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

i think the NFL is being extra thorough, because they don't want to hand out a punishment and then find out more a month later. I think the patriots will get punished, but the NFL is looking to find out if Brady or Belichick are going to get fined or suspended too.

LMAO I'm sure if that question was asked to all the football players in the NFL, the 80/20 rule would apply

Yea , but no punishment is good enough when you're going to the Superbowl! The NFL is just a big joke and mess ! Since Goodell got in!

Have you ever heard of Steven Ridley??? Another stupid article and stupid angle to post it. In NE if you fumble you don't play. That simple. We stress ball control to a degree like no one else. And yet Ridley was the worst we have had in many years.

Try again.

I bet the NFL is hoping and praying that the Patriots win the Superbowl and they need the Patriots to win! So the NFL won't be under fire and pressured by everyone saying that the Patriots losing proves that they cheated in the other games! Cause they won't be able to cheat when everyone is watching their every move!

Well whatever your feelings (like I care) on which team or deflation issues, the best pre-game speech (sorry for the crappy quality, no idea why this is the only version on YouTube) of all time for football was from Craig T Nelson in the film "All the Right Moves". LOVE IT!!!!:

The picture doesn't really show the level of deflation but you get the idea.
