Pray for my Daughter Stephanie. - Page 52

Yeah I just don't know why this is happening to her. I have done quick reading and having Chemo can cause it to come on. And it is very dangerous when having cancer. It spreads to more than just the skin, speads to internal organs and lungs. She already has the cancer in lungs. I pray to god she can make it thru this.

She is almost always asleep when I leave for work at 6:40 and I just kiss her on the head. This morning she was all covered up so I kissed her and felt her for a fever but did not uncover her to see all the blisters. Kathie is off today and does not go back to work till Sunday. She had worked everyday for the last week of 12 hour shifts to get time saved up to be with Steph and Kathie's sisters flying in.

ARRGGGG, I am so frustrated right now.

I had shingles a few years back... it was horrible and painful...

I can't even imagine where she and your family are pulling your strength from.

First off, I wish her well and I know she will get through this. But one question, I always thought shingles were for adults and chicken pox was the same for kids. I am obviusly mistaken. Ill ask my sis the pediatrician.

She had chicken pox when she was little. This disease comes when you sickly or have a weaken immune system.

Stephanie is both sick and has weak immune system. Usually older people get it becuase of their health.

Does she have a blog or facebook? I would love to write her a note. I don't have anything enlightening to say but would love to offer some distraction and maybe a litle encouragement.

Does she see the posts here? I am sure she would be encouraged to know that we are thinking about her and praying for her and again enjoy the distraction.
