The Seahawks should be able to focus, this has nothing to do with them.

Agree, everyone and anyone agrees balls made no diff in 1st half, but sadly this game has become a sidenote. Sucks.

Well its not about the actual players its just the long dragged out boring conversations almost every day on TV/Radio/Internets about the situation..

I'd rather be seeing match up highlights and keys to the game/press conference about actual football rather than some deflating scam, which I dont even care for cause the Colts suck and wouldve lost anyway ... We'll see what SB week brings but I'll be pissed if its about deflate-gate.

I am with you.

VERY interested in Kam roving and covering Gronkowski, what a match up!!!!

Want to see if Pats take Browner down from secondary and have him play spy on Wilson or flash to tight ends.

This isn't just about the Indy game. Yes, it made no difference in that one.

Problem is...I believe this has been going on all year (maybe just home games, maybe not)...and you have to remember that there were several close games that could have been affected by this (softer ball means grippier, less fumbles, easier catches).

Being that Indianapolis saw this in a previous game, and were looking to have the balls checked in the playoff game is the important thing here. Just like everyone knows O.J. Simpson committed a murder...there are probably some close fans of his that look at the trial and his "innocence" as proof that he didn't do wrong. This is what Patriots fans are doing right now.

Simply put, we won't ever know for sure about those previous games. There's no way to test the balls now. Yet, circumstantially, everything points to the Patriots having done this. And, it wasn't some rogue equipment guy that did this.

Video now shows that the Equipment guy with the balls went from the officials area where the balls were tested to another room before going on the field. It'd be interesting to see if this happened in previous games as well.

I have no problems with the NFL looking at this forensically and proving a pattern of behavior by the equipment guy doing this for any and all games this year as well.

Again...we have to thank Brady/Belichick for making this about deflategate rather than the game ahead.

And, Patriots fans are going to have to live with the ridicule over this win or lose...

Oh...and I think this is a good time to show an audio recap by the Patriots announcers of the last time we met.

Zolak is an idiot...apparently Russell Wilson doesn't know how to read defenses.

Steve Dallas,

I have tried my very best to be objective and fair.

I guess nothing is settled until the NFL (bastion of fairness and good decisions) renders their verdict.

Patriots are cheaters and thats why they, since 2001, are the winningest franchise in the NFL. Its all about a pound in PSI, it's all fake. Men don't put on the uniform and go out there and play. You got it, Patriots have won 3 SB's and more games than I can count because they taped signals from an illegal location and then deflated footballs years later.

I mentioned a while ago about serious people, I find it hard to think you are one.

Cheaters SPYGATE!!!!!!! OMFG even the NFL determined no material advantage was obtained. It was 7 YEARS ago.

Aside, so no other team cheats, skirts rules, etc they are all squeaky clean?

Look...I get a ticket speeding...I don't try to lawyer up and get out of it. I man up, and pay the ticket. So, yes...I believe that if someone does cheat, then they have to "do the time". Be that PED's (remember, the Patriots did this too), Spygate, player contact during OTA's in the preseason...or deflating balls.

You may think it's unimportant to follow the rules...and that when you break them they don't apply to you. I'm not like that. If I break the rules, I have no problems dealing with the consequences.

I do believe this was more than a 1 game thing...which will likely be only proven circumstantially. Yet, just like O.J., you look at the evidence...and what we've seen and heard so far just do not look good for the Pats.

We'll see what happens. As I said, I look forward to what the forensics guys find not only for the Indy game...but for previous games as well.

Goodell: Did you order the Code Red!?

Bellichick: YOU'RE GODDAMN RIGHT I DID!

Son, we live in a world that has balls, and those balls have to be guarded by men with clipboards. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Commissioner Goodell? I have a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for the ballboy, and you curse the Patriots. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That the ballboy's fall, while tragic, probably sold tickets and won football games. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, sells tickets and wins football games. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about on reddit, you want me on that ball, you need me on that ball. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent playing a game. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very ticket sales that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a football, and go let some air out of it. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to.
