Good work everyone. If you talk to a member
who hasn't posted an update, remind them to
do so.

I got my treadmill set up yesterday and it will
do exactly as intended......get me moving!!!!

I'm also thinking about changing the name of
the thread to C5 Health and Fitness Club.....

Any thoughts?

I weighed myself last night for the first time since I've started, and I weigh almost 10 pounds more than when I started.

However, I look and feel much better than when I started. Keep in mind that I'm not doing anything as far as dieting or eating differently,but I don't go out to eat often. Once maybe twice a month. So no junk food.

Don't focus on a number on a scale, it means nothing if you don't feel good about yourself.
Agreed. Way to go on the workout Milk

I agree with you on this I have lost 5 pounds since I started my P90X program. But I am still at 185 but I have notice my pants fitting better as well as my shirts. I have also finish my 3rd week of P90X this week is all about my recovery week and maybe work on my abs.

1/24/11 – “Deck of Cards v2.0″

Today's WOD
Oh yea!!! Deck of cards, each suit represents a movement and of course the number is the amount of reps. Aces equal 1 rep, face cards equal 11 reps, jokers will be = ? (that’s a surprise). Training staff will shuffle the cards once, athletes will draw a card and execute the movements. Next card will be drawn once the last person of the class finishes. Yes it’s for time and we will go Class Team vs. Class Team. Who will win.. Zombies? Sleepwalkers? Maybe the 7 Deadlies? WE will find out!

Hearts = Kettlebell swings
Diamonds = Squats
Clubs = Situps
Spades = Pushups
Aces = 1 rep
Face cards = 11 reps
Jokers = ?

Ok...my legs feel like they are going to fall off...

.....and I LOVE it.

Going back tomorrow.

We just signed up at a new gym and paid the entire year in FULL. The guy was kinda shocked when I asked if I could do that...make it easier and all...and he goes, "well, yeah! In fact, I'll give you an extra 3 months free if you do that!" Needless to say, I'm going...."um...ok!"

So, we paid our $1,156.00 for the "family plan" for a year. Includes EVERYTHING..and the kids get to start working out when they are 10...supervised, of course. But, their rates NEVER change. At the other gym, they could not work out until they were 12 and they then had to pay full fees. SCREW THAT!

So, family plan it is. Several pools...one indoor and two out door. Water slides..kids are going to LOVE that one! Cabana for summers.. About 10 different courts for tennis, basketball, etc. Indoor basketball court. Tons of workout rooms for classes. Full weight room with all NEW machines...e.verything you can think of and more... All cardio machines have tv's on them with full cable access (so you can workout and lose track of time...forget you are working out. I LOVE that one). Electric lockers, full sauna, hot tub, showers, you name it, they got it. Raquetball? Yep. Kids care? Yep. Kids activities? Yep. The whole 9 yards.

So...been dieting properly for a week now and we are now at the gym we've wanted for so long.
