My first, purchased car: 1982 Chevy Camaro, 5 spd, V6 RS

Can't even remember why I sold her...
Not much power, wanted the Z28, but 1st job out of college, just married, couldn't afford it ;(

No regrets this time though!

My first car was a 1969 Baracuda
what was worst, I traded it for a 1973 Vega because of gas prices.

My first car was a 1974 Ford Pinto and it was a piece of junk. It was always breaking down and costing me money. It broke down at a McDonalds drive through once and I had to have people push me through it so they could get their food. It was the only Ford I ever owned and no I don't miss it.

When I had my S10 it did the same exact thing to me. I had to get the people behind me to push it through the drive-thru.

No!

My first car was handed down to me in 1985 from my dad, it was a 1973 yellow with brown wood panels Ford LTD Country Squire station wagon with a 429 CID that got around 7 mpg. Good thing leaded gas was under a dollar back then and even free for while. The best thing about the car was that it had an optional keg holder in the very back, all you had to do was open up the third row seats and a keg would lay in there just right. A 72 Vega that my brother-in-law gave me because the dealership wouldn't give him anything for it on trade.

My first car was a 2006 Impala LT 3.9L V6. It was a pretty good car. I got her with 64,000 miles on it back in September 2008 and traded it in on the Camaro in June 2009 with 71,000 miles. Never had any problems with it at all. If Chevy didn't come out with the Camaro I'd still have her. I don't really miss it now that I have the Camaro, but right now I miss the Camaro since I'm waiting for it to go into the body shop thanks to a deer.

Wish I could have kept it. First car was a 70 SS at age 15. Spent the time fixing up a $800 basket case until I got my license. Dad was a lot of help and I was a lawn mowing/hay bailing fool to make enough money for parts/upgrades. By the time I was a HS Senior, it had twin Holley carbs sticking through the hood and was a handful. Had to let it go when I went to college. Just not practical and the frame had serious salt decay. Waited 20+ years to finally get another Camaro! Just need to set the priorities for this one.

My first car... at 28 years old...
Black/Black 2010 Camaro SS/RS with GFX.

Until this, I have borrowed family vehicles... and never had one of my own.

I've always wanted a Muscle car, and have always loved Camaro's. My family has always owned GM vehicles. (They have a Ford pickup too) But... they've had GM since.. sometime in the 60's until now which is a long run with 2 GM's currently in the driveway. I guess I bought this car to get one more thing checked off of my bucket list.

So.. I don't miss my 1st car.. It's in the garage. I guess I kind of miss it since I'm upstairs and it's in the garage.. and we're not out on the road.

However, it's having a lot of problems, in the shop way too much, (currently waiting on a replacement exhaust).. getting me too many tickets, and had a nightmare of a dealership experience.... Nightmare problems with aftermarket components as well (Revolution hood) Tons of attention/compliments though. Some really cool experiences/memories/stories in less than a year of ownership. Plenty of which I'm sure no other car could have provided me.

It's been a love/hate bittersweet experience though.

don't think I'll ever forget my first Car experience.. best lookin car ever & a fun drive.

I sure as heck hope my next purchase goes better. I think it'd be hard to get any worse.
I am of half a mind to get rid of it if they do put out the z28's & I decide to stick with GM.

If I get rid of it for the z28... I will not miss it. I will be glad to start fresh with a bigger beast, and hopefully not have any of the stressful memories that came with this one. Just feel like mines got some bad karma attatched to it or something.
