If you see a thread/post/picture/video/PM/etc that you think violates forum rules -- report it! And one of the mods will be able to address the issue almost instantly.

Dragoneye again, wrote what I was thinking. Posting a specific thread, like this one, just brings up the whole topic of which you are trying to squelch. Counter-productive? And I would guess doesn't really help anyone in the end... Mods, Members, etc. (well maybe trolls enjoy them).

Not to get off on a tangent, but...

I would first address the poster directly... if I believe they are "out of line". If that didn't go anywhere, as in we didn't see 'eye to eye', I would then report it and leave it in the Mods hands. There is no reason to make it a public thread and, like I said, bring more attention to it. Your sentiments may be in the right place in your OP... but it certainly can be taken as you "policing other people's actions from your computer". Which is someone elses job.

Apparently so...as some goof-balls have taken to posting these things IN THIS thread.

Skyman, Is there a way to stop them? No -- since stupid-is-as-stupid-does. Short of mind-control all we can do is continue to discourage it with our words and actions. We will continue to take posts down as they're submitted. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP.

We cannot find and remove 100% of these posts 100% of time by ourselves. If you see a street-racing post, please report is using the red-and-white "report" sign at the bottom of the posts info center (left-bottom of post). We'll get an alert instantly, and those of us who are online can take appropriate action.
