Why is it you rarely see young people driving them? I mean under 60. I know price is a large factor in it, but still. You'd think guys in their 40s with good jobs would buy one.

I personally would rather have a late model C7. I like the design better. Except I get different wheels on it due to the defective problems some of them had (see lawsuit.)

The C8 looks too much like a Ferrari and not a Corvette. I'd rather have a 2019 Z06
I agree, especially for the money right now. The C7 Z06's are NICE cars, and I'm historically not a vette fan. . If you have never driven one, I highly encourage it!

I'm 37 and bought a 1980 L82 Corvette if that counts when I was in high school! Turned out to just have too many problems to fix though and kept breaking down so I ended up trading it in on a 1999 Mustang GT. Glad I did because I learned how to drive a manual on that Mustang. That was a POS too down the road but that's for another thread.

Or even one that's a bit older like 2015 or 2016. Down here in FL you see them for sale with under 30,000 miles all the time. Some with less than 12,000 miles. You have these older guys who buy them and don't drive them much and they end up selling them because it's too hard for them to get in and out of them.

My used 2016 SS I bought last fall had really low miles. It was an old snowbird who bought it and didn't drive it much. Dealer said he traded it in for an SUV. Also, those older guys typically get the maintenance done timely as well.

Older than that, it's been constant revisions since the C4 I believe, nothing wrong with that though, it's the most refined front engine Vette chassis ever

Not that there is nothing wrong with that.

I'd rather have the performance of the C8 in the Chasis of a C7!

At least the previous models look like a vette.

but the way it sounds if they keep making the Camaro that the next Camaro will still be similar to ours.

Personally I'd love an F body Camaro like the late 90s. Great visibility and I'd trade in for it.

It's 2021 not but if this were a year ago and I was made of $$$ and looking for a C8 BUT saw a left over z06 for a great price I'd jump all over that Z06.

Once the C8 hoopla wears off in a couple of years I wonder if Chevy will go back to a traditional Vette design if sales are slumping.
