Normally my sister and I would just get "the look" from my mom and we knew to straighten up!

If we were in real trouble, school called or we broke something, it would be “go to your room” to my sister and “go outside” for me! I was already writing computer code in middle school, so going to my room for hours at a time was not a punishment. Hell, my computer had a cassette deck in it to save data!!!

I remember standing at the screen door yelling, “Can I come in now!” Wow, now that I think of it, I still don’t care too much for the outside.

Funny thing is my brother came along 8 years later, my mom would say to my dad, “it’s your turn to raise this one!”
