Well, I lost my father in 93' and my mother in 05', my mother-in-law

in 2000, and my father-in-law in 01'. With that said, yes, it's been hard to

deal and cope. I've managed to get better emotionally, and decided

to be grateful everyday for having our health, a home, and my

husbands job. Most of all ,our 2 beautiful children which keep me very

busy. (thankfully) I am very involved in my children's lives, and

as you well know life goes fast, and I don't want to say I missed it.

My husband is a great! We both take these situations as life lessons.

At our age and experiences, we now both stop to smell the roses!

Yes, attitude is everything!

Every day (for years now), she sends 5 gratefuls to her immediate family and a couple of close friends. In August of 2007, I started the same thing.

be grateful! Spread cheer, it cheers you up also! Thanks for the thread Abby!

GREAT idea! Thanks for sharing it, and thanks for spreading joy!

Awwww....that is soooo precious! All you have to do is look at those precious little ones, and it's got to be hard not to be filled with joy. I think of all the single parents around this country working countless hours to provide for their children. I could never think I have it rough!

Wow, you really have been through some trials! God bless you for pressing on and not letting depression take over your life....I know it can if you let it. Sometimes the lessons we learn in this life are very interesting to say the least.

You are an inspiration to your children and all the others around you. I'm a firm believer that you can never fully understand the impact that you have on others. Keep being that bright light!

you sire, deserve a medal if you had the Cajones to major in Finance. i'm pretty sure i just failed the final exam for finance this afternoon. (one question on the exam wasn't even taught in class. "oh what's this, new material, that's nice! oh wait, it's worth 25% of the exam.... sh**...). My prof for Finance also speaks pretty poor english, with a huuuge japanese accent, makes life a pain when you can't understand the prof.

I'm doing a Bachelors of Commerce degree, i'll likely wind up Majoring in Accounting, so far it seems to be the lesser of the 6 evils. supposedly finance is better after 1st year, i guess i'll just have to figure it out as time goes.

i'm at the library right now studying for the accounting final saturday morning.... probably about time to close out Camaro5...
