I wouldn't Worry , The GTO was a SOLID machine.. And With the improvements to the IRS in the camaro.. I'm sure it will be even better!!
That's what I want to hear..

I had an 04 GTO, Black on black, with the early 350 hp 6 speed manual. Didnt have one problem with it. Again, was one of the first sold around here, I actually paid a small premium to get it. That is one thing I will never do again. I dont mind paying msrp for the camaro, but, I wont pay a premium. And the sound of the exhaust on that car was amazing. I am sure the camaro will be even better.

The Challenger is first on the list...then the Camaro. Sometime in 2010? Hopefully.

I'd like to order one as soon as we're able. But I have a feeling I'll have to wait until they're already on lots. I'll still order one, it just might have to wait 'til March or April... Not due to lack of money, but the lack of availability I'm anticipating.

That and my father is considering getting himself a V6 model as a weekend fun car. He made the comment that we could go together and see what they'll do for us if we get 2 of them. LOL

Im going to wait till the dealer markup dies down, aftermarket camaro parts are there, and then i will order exactly what i want.

Last part of 09 is my best guess.

I'm ordering as soon as the orders open up. (Dec or Jan?)

I work at a Chevy store in Attica, In. (We don't mark any car up.) I want the second or maybe third one coming in. My lease is up in July, I'll be able to flip it in May with no penalty, but if it comes in sooner, that's ok with me.

I'm 90% sure it's the 6 cyl, 300 hp is plenty. But after I learn the pricing, if the 6 (the way I want it) is close to the 422 hp, I might change

I'm stuck on color. I was hoping to have the blue like my 66 Chevelle SS396. Since they don't, I'm in a quandry. I'll bet the SS Vert has that color.

Like a lot of you, I'm venturing to Indy is Sep. to get a better idea.

I didn't come to the forum to solicit business, I'm just a Camaro fan from way back. I owned a brand new 69 Z/28. (Showing my age.) I don't sell, I do the financing. But if anyone needs help, call me and I'll steer you in the right direction. We usually don't take deposits; a simple handshake will do.

Mods, if I'm out of line, I apologize and feel free to delete.

I'm really here to learn all that I can about my next "baby."
