YUP America.. this is the soft sad and pathetic type of betrayal that had people like the Rosenbergs and Benedict Arnold giving secrets over to the enemy.

In my mind... AMERICAN CAR BIAS is not BIAS... it's the reality, it's PRIDE that will bring this country back to greatness. Please have some... I have plenty and I'm willing to share.

Hyundai/KIA, BMW, Toyota, VW.. whoever the eff... can build factories in every State from Georgia to Alaska... but that still doesn't make them your friend.

Haha, did you actually compare me to the Rosenbergs and Benedict Arnold? Come on man, that's childish.

Betrayal? What am I betraying? Since when am I obligated to support a company simply because of its country of origin? This is the free market. I support whatever company adapts to social, technological, and economic changes. If a company is unable to do so, and are offering products that I dislike, they will not get my support nor my money. I don't care where that company is from.

And don't give me this pride crap. I own a Camaro. I didn't buy it out of a "buy American" mentality. I was not biased toward it in anyway. I bought it because I compared it with other cars (Genesis Coupe, VW GTI, and Mustang) and I picked it because I love the styling and performance, and GM has pulled it together and made a vehicle of really high quality. If GM didn't do that, I would have bought another car, it's as simple as that.

It's basic economics in a free market society. If a company is unable to allocate resources property, then consumers should reflect this with purchases, and that company should change and adapt or face bankruptcy. It is a bad idea to support a company, simply because of its name or country of origin.

OMG- Now after reading this I couldn't believe it and I am a woman- I would NEVER tell my husband to trade any of our Camaros for a KIA!! That is the most ridiculous thing- of course you were very kind telling her to fly a kite my husband would divorce me!!!

I know have your wife test drive your Camaro and then take her out to drive the KIA right after- NO COMPARISON!! Do you let your wife drive your Camaro???? If she drives it and she still says this someone else was right she is around the pixie dust too long!!

Now...if you don't let her drive your Camaro...she might be resentful and this is why she would think the KIA might be ok. Either way, if you had to trade in your car you should still go American dude- get a Malibu at least will last you longer with less hassle.
