yeah, most likely...
Maybe better odds in starting a 'sponsor my Camaro 5 Fest trip' thread.

biggarkid, I have some great pictures for your campaign! It might help you. Before you all jump on me, these pictures are 110% a joke and I'm not at all serious and if this offends biggarkid, I apologize in advance. This is just to lighten the mood. If inappropriate, please remove. Thanks!

Im in my junior year right now so all the juniors are still planning ahead. Do you think trying to get random people to sponsor me would work? Id like to be able to take a new camaro on it. I live in NC and we would be heading to California and back. I think the average time is 2 weeks or so.

Im thinking about getting people to document the trip and record peoples reactions. Im not sure what others will be driving and who is going right now but I think it would be cool to drive a camaro the entire way.

Is that just stupid to try and get people to sponsor me and help pay for a new camaro?

Also anyone have any fun suggestions for the trip regardless of the cars driven.

So just want to make sure understand this.. This Economy is recovering from a serious depression, where thousands of people have lost their jobs and homes. I personally am wake up at 5 in the morning to pass at business cards at resteraunts, am at work by eight, work till 9 then go and pass some cards out at restaruants on way home.. My fiancee is waking up at 4 in morning, seeing patients from 6-8. She then goes to school from 8-5, and after school she goes see patients from 5-9. We get home around 10 where we then make dinner put Zakq to bed. She studies from 10 till about 12 or 1 in the morning, while I get the house work done. We do this 6 days a week. On Sunday I finish up Housework and she studies and does homework.. We are doing all this just to have a little bit of comfort room in our finances. So that little bit that we do have I suppose to donate to you?
This is what is wrong with Todays Generation. Its all about themselves, they don't care about anything else.. "I want to look cool for this trip" Why not start donations for the thousands that lost their jobs? If you don't have enough money to get a Camaro, guess what, you dont need one..

This thread is ridiculous.

When you get to college, kid, you'll understand why people are getting pissed off. When you're actually dreading graduation because you know you're going to have over $130,000 in debt that you'll have to pay off on a $69,000/year salary, you'll understand.

Amen to that brother. So true, so true. Unless you are on full scholorship, if you plan on heading to college, be prepared to graduate with a degree you don't use and end up making money on trade skills. That's what happened to me.

Dude. A lot of people have money to just throw around. Mostly everything I have Ive earned. No harm in asking. Every generation has there own "tumors" but those would be the ones dropping out of school etc.

wrong, that's what you dont get.

You are talking to the common class. Not the upper class people who have money to spare, and even if they do, what makes you think they would give it to you.

You have to work for your money, do something in return to earn that money, not just beg for it.

SORRY IN ADVANCE,

this thread has made me angry, I'm sorry

< vent >
after LOSING my Camaro from the economic downfall and spiral last week I have got to tell mr. (beggarkid) here to finish his school and not worry about a car that he can't afford... sponsored trips to a different country is completely different then a pleasure cruise through the country you live in now. if you want to try to compare what you're doing now to someone who was looking for a sponsorship to another country for schooling you're barking in the wrong bush... there is absolutely no comparison..

What this troll is doing is exactly what bums do when they stand on the street with a sign that says "hungry, need money for food" when there's a damn mcdonalds across the street that's hiring... that bum isn't going to be able to afford a camaro for atleast 5 years after he gets a job and this kid hasn't even finished his worry stone of current modern schooling...

here's some advice... graduate highschool, go to college, by then the economy should open enough jobs for you to get right into a place out of college that doesn't require 2 years of past experience

(how these places think that students out of college that don't have past experience aren't as qualified as someone who has 2 years of experience is beyond me, but that seems to be the trend these days..)

after you've saved a few grand go buy a 2015 camaro.

sure! it's a nice idea to say "hey my del sol sucks and i really want to be the cool kid on the cruise so i'll ask people to sponsor me to drive the baddest car that's came out this year! i'll ask people to "sponsor" me so I can buy a camaro!!! but grow up and get real, I wouldn't even put money in the Del Sol to tell you the truth..

Hey, if this theory is correct, there should be a whole butt load of people who can throw me money to buy my Camaro back from the re-posession that unfortunatly had to happend last week due to unforseen layoffs that are happening left and right in this country! (I got a dealer to purchase it so atleast my credit is saved)

There are more tumors out there then dropouts by the way.. no need to generalize..

seriously though... i'm done now...

< /endvent >

P.S. Please close thread, it's a mute point now IMHO
