Sorry for your daughters loss. But when I was young a stuck my hamster in a toy car and decided to do a Dukes of Hazzard jump down a flight of stairs. Unfortunatly this was the last car ride my pet hamster ever made. I didn't kill my hamster on purpose but sometimes young kids play a little to rough with small animals and they kill them on accident. Do you think this could have been a possibility maybe she was just playing a little to rough with it? Also in a 4H meeting we had at school the teacher dropped a rabbit in front of the class and I guess it did something bad to rabbit because it started convulsing real bad and all the kids were freaking out. But what was bad was the teacher picked it up and turned his back thinking no one could see him but there was 3 of us he didn't see watching him. But he picked it up and snapped it's neck to put it out of it's missery. Not saying your daughter snapped it's neck but maybe she dropped it or played to rough or stepped on it? Well hopefully she get over it soon! My daughter would be happy if I got her another pet. Maybe yours would be sameway? Get her a hamster or some animal that can use the rabbit cage.

No more animals. I put my foot down. If it doesn't look you in the eye, WITH EXCITEMENT, it doesn't come in.

Sorry for daughter's sadness. But, we all learn it's the sad

part of life. Tell her, the rabbit is OK in rabbit heaven.

You can kill a rabbit by walking up behind it and clapping.

OK, am I the only real redneck on here? The first thing that I thought about was did you have fried potatos or mashed potatos with it. Fried rabbit rolled in flour tastes delicious with cream gravy.

Seriously, I'm sorry for your daughter's loss, but I agree with you. A dog is a great pet. I have a 10 year old Red Heeler and she still greets us at the car every day.

Depends on where it comes from, allot of inbreeding in rabbits.
Folks just pen em up and who knows who kids they are.

Like a dog, you want a breeder you can trust.

Dunno what kind it is but folks behind us got one that could eat a dog.
Its HUGH.

Rabbits don't have a heaven.

Wish you could do that with some other things.
