IMO it was a horrible combination of stupid on both sides. Yes, the two cars did a little dirt track bumping, and Ward's car got wrecked.

Sad day, and mad props to AJ Allmendinger today for talking about Ward in Victory Lane, that was a class act.

As I have become older it blows my mind, really blows me away that you can spend 20, 30 years building a life, a career, your word and reputation and 60 seconds of poor judgement or emotion can flush it down the toilet like it never existed. Everyone should keep that in mind at all times.

Im not defending Tony Stewart because ive never cared for how he acts but in his defense, that track was not well lit, it was very dark in the area that Ward was hit.

Tragic as it is, I personally think its both their fault but Tony didnt hit him on purpose....

We can point fingers at both men all day long ,but the real reality is a young man lost his life do to bad decisions on both parts. Now theres a family who lost a son two soon and another man who will have to live with this for the rest of his life. What there needs to be now is prayer for all envoled.

You ever been trailing a car at highway speeds a couple or so car lengths back, just minding your bizwax?

Then you ever have the car in front of you swerve suddenly only to leave you deadnutz in coming up on some road debris?

Now watch the video again.

This time notice the poor kid standing down to stop a car and ready for confrontation.

Problem was the car in front of Tony was the wrong car, and notice if you can that car swerved to miss the kid and corrected, only to have tony deadnutz driving him down and spastic for a reaction.

Wisdom comes with age and experience, and all racers with experience know brawls are behind the wheel or in the pits. But not walking around on an active track.

Poor kid. I feel bad for him, his family, and tony. It is sad for everyone.
