FWIW, I never comment on these threads, but Prenger's post is exactly how I took it when I read it yesterday. A simple thanks for the comradery and take care would have sufficed.

Exactly, the OP was taunting. I guess some of these guys dont mind being clowned. If I get an Adventador Im not going to sit back and compare it to my SS. Not once did he say thanks for everything. Some people cant read sarcasm. I could have easily congratulated him the way I do every other member. But it was clear this was a taunt.

My bad! I'm guessing he's talking about in stock form because the SS don't really have a muscle sound without after market or NNP. I just made that comment because he was just going on the notion that the guys SS has a stock exhaust.But I just checked the C63 out . thanx! Holy crap !that thing has a muscle sound. I dont understand the point of posting a goodbye when someone trades there car in for a different make model etc...just trade it and go..no need to sign on to c5 and tell everyone...you know damn well theres going to be jealous people that are going to give negative comments.... just my duece coppers....

To me the OP reminds of "Lebron James " when he made his announcement that he was leaving to Miami. I never understand making a big announcement just Bounce. Nobody would notice on here. Oh, he want us to congratulate his choice . LOL...

These are grown men who would be jealous, most of the members on here drive Camaros by choice. There are guys here who have cars other than there Camaro that are faster and more expensive. I dont think its about jealousy, i think its about showing respect. I feel the same about guys that trade up then dog the LT model. It was cool while you had but now its not the car you thought it was.

my take on this. this is a Camaro Forum. peeps on here love camaros. not saying other cars are ok. but, in a way, its tacky to post it here. I work at a credit union, and it like some customers tell me they are going to go to a bank instead. thats ok, and its their perogative, but its not something i need to hear, and for what purpose does it serve? the Mercedes is a nice car that the OP has, but i think the Camaro is a different annimal. i dont think one is "better" than the other. to each is own. but again, this is a Camaro thread, not a MB thread. i personally have always been a GM person, and i was brought up in GM cars, and to this day, thats all i buy. but to each his own, congrats to the OP on his purchase, but i still prefer the Camaro, no matter what trim level.
