Is it worth 3 1/3 Z/28s? Math in public I know and fractions to boot, I had to get my old third grade math book out.

I looked at the 3 they have on display at the NAIAS today while I was there. There are neat vehicles, but nowhere near the fit and finish of a Chevy Camaro or any other off the line vehicle.

I know this is a start up company....But after 6 years in the making and for the asking price they should have taken the time to clean the inside of the wheels and detail the vehicles better. (Everything behind the spokes was dirty from driving it) The leather on the dash was loose, the radio display (flat screen) looked out of place with the retro interior. There were so many fine details that could have been overlooked for a kit car.......but not for something the same price as a Ferrari.

I am trying not to knock it but asking someone for $260K+ for a car it better be perfect.

Now on the opposite end of the spectrum Bob Lutz company VL that has the Fisker body with the LS9 motors in them for sale......Those things looked great and like they were factory installed. they start at about $190K

Couldn't agree more and when the make up of the Z28 is taken into account and that it's punching way above its class the price is reasonable.

I think people would have been more happy if GM came in with a Base Z28 using ZL1 brakes at 67k and made the CCB brakes a 8k option so GM could have there 75k price
they think they needed. I think that would have been a win win for the customers and GM.

WTH is that thing?! It looks like a mustang/challenger/charger mutant!

Equus Bass 770: The $250,000 muscle car

Tucked quietly in a back corner of Michigan Hall is an intriguing new car creating buzz at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. At first glance, the Equus Bass 770 may appear to be a classic Ford Mustang, but a closer look reveals a limited-production supercar dressed in vintage clothing.

This modern muscle car evokes the passion of the great designs and nameplates of the 1960s and 1970s, incorporating styling elements from a number of different models but most noticeably the silhouette and fastback roofline of the iconic Ford Mustang.

Beneath classic lines lie the latest elements of automotive technology — an aluminum chassis, aluminum body lined with carbon fiber, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, GM's Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension and Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

The Bass 770 is powered by the General Motors LS9 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that also powers the Chevrolet C6 Corvette ZR1. The 640 horsepower is delivered through a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Performance specs from Equus indicate a top speed of 200 mph and 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds.

That's a hell of a car. Notice they use a Corvette engine to deliver the goods!
