Well, you will be able to get it next year as the Chevrolet SS, which is a Holden VF Commodore, but it won't be an ST. These Commodores are just badass.

The Chevrolet SS is what we call the Chevrolet Caprice LTZ and Royale here in the Middle East.

Unless its the the ute, not interested hahah. The commodores are indeed bad ass, but the ute is the one that really interests me

No the SS is what you call the Lumina in the middle east. The Caprice is the Caprice Police vehicle here.

Our Caprice is the same Caprice in Australia, and has been for quite some time. We have had Lumina (V6), Lumina S, Lumina SS and the CR8 (SSV), and there have been a few Caprice SS here, as well, but not all model years. I suppose the Caprice PPV is something new these past few years in the USA? Are they available for sale to the general public?

The rebadged holden Caprice is new(within the last year or so) and is not available to the public, it's a PPV only, there was a loop hole that some dealers found and they were selling the under cover cars to the public. It didn't take GM long to notice and fix the loop hole.

The Caprices here have 6.2 Litre V8s, are left-hand drive, and I am sure someone can bring one in to North America, change out the glass, and maybe some emissions work and you might have a PPV, but I am now talking out my butt because I have no idea what a PPV is.

The usa and canada are hard to import vehicles into.
And I believe PPV stands for police patrol vehicle

You can pick up a PPV here. Plenty of dealers selling "used" Caprices with 37 or so miles on them.

There are many similar trucks or whatever they are similar to what you guys posted on earlier comments all over Mexico and Latin America. They are called "Tornado" by Chevrolet and "Courier" by ford. I believe they only have 4 cylinders though.

Tornados are Gamma-based. They're much smaller than Utes on Zeta.

And in any case, GM's director of international operations killed the Ute rumor yesterday.

They just don't know that there's an actual market for the Ute. Not everybody wants a truck, and even a lot of people with trucks never use it for what it is designed for. I'd take the Ute over a truck in most cases.
