There was a story on the news the other day about how Canadians are hoping the border to buy PowerBall tickets. Around here the maximum payout is $50 million. Once the lottery hits that cap extra prizes of 1 million are set aside.

Two people won. One in arizona one in missouri. They had the guy who runs powerball on tv a while ago. They talked to him how they made it more difficult to win because people like bigger jackpots.
So instead of a lot of people winning $10 million we have a few people winning 100s of millions.
