no Seriously.....Magic had their hands full tonight. I liked the one broadcasters comment..."the magic take care of business against Labron James and their prize is they get to face Kobe Bryant." (classic) I'm actually just happy that the Nuggets are gone and the court doesn't look like a Prison yard anymore! |

Kobe totally dominated last nights game. He took over. I guess he was the one wearing the Magic down...not vice versa lol. Magic couldn't stop him. And "some" of the Lakers also stepped up their game. Bynum let me down though. He did crap.
Also another thing that led to the Lakers win was the rebounding! They were hustlin' for the ball...getting those missed shots. This is the series against the Nuggets... Game 1: 46 (W) Game 2: 43 (L) Game 3: 43 (W) Game 4: 40 (L) Game 5: 42 (W) Game 6: 27 (W) Against the Magic... Game 1: 55 (W) You couldn't really tell...but the Lakers really held Dwight H. down. He only scored 12pts!!! 10 of which were from the FT line... 1-6 shooting...He shot 63% average with the Cavs...he shot 16% last night. I also gotta add I gotta respect J. Nelson for good sportsmanship. If you weren't paying attention, you wouldn't notice. What stood this out too is when Kobe made a 3-pt play...the crown went wild and he was the only Magic player clapping.

But that's what sport should be....right? Like I said....I'm waaaaay happy that nugget team (and their coach) is sitting home and 2 really respectful teams who battled hard all year are the last 2 standing. Wonder if the league is going to review that nasty Elbow DH laid on Gasol last night? DH has a history of bangin peeps around with those things. The magic will make adjustments and these should be closer games imo. |
