Precisely my point and they never replaced it with anything even somewhat sporty. Chevy has to do something because if it weren't for the few Camaro's or Corvette's on the lots they would look like nursing home parking lots

the red one has a disgusting greenhouse. Destroys that cars attempt at looking sleek. Just grab some elmers glue and slap that roof on. silver looks great though.

So GM is appealing to the RX-8 and Mitsubishi Eclipse crowds because both those cars got cancelled, so people will jump ship to GM?
In all honesty not bad cars, I'm just bitter that they showed a quick shot of a 1970 Chevelle as 'heritage' and then show these....... things. |

I really would consider buying the RWD one. I've been looking for a Daily driver for a year now so I won't have a problem jumping ship on one of these if they come out in a year or two. Lets go chevy build these!

Another interesting tid bit for the eagle eyed.
Both the concepts have the corvette cross flags and in this article a GM guy says that's the new direction at Chevy, to put them on all the sporty cars. So the next camaro may more than likely receive them also. And given the reason I guess it makes sense. most of us here already have them sort of. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/01/09/w...ross-flag-emb/ Red car is still butt ugly btw. ![]() I wonder what vette owners think about this. I know when I first saw the Sonic RS using the exact same RS badge on the camaro, it kind of made me want to remove mine. I think it's ok to put them on the camaro, maybe only on the SS and above but if they start slapping them on everything under the moon, it kind of dilutes it.
