Of course it's not true 100% of the time. But you can usually tell who's who by speaking to them. And on this forum, it's not hard to spot them either. They make themselves plainly obvious. |

I agree with Earliestmemory, I don't understand those women. But then I spent my 4 years of high school in the autobody shop
Saying a man is compensating is like a woman is compensating for being fat! BTW, I'm not

I bought a big truck with a 6" and pull my equipment at least 3-4 times a week weighing about 14K. I bought it used for 20k with 57K on it. The lift was installed and if that means that I have a small unit then I guess I do. When ask I reply yes, but your girlfriend said it's bigger then yours.

You guys are too funny. Yes, women buy lots of clothes and use make-up to look good - partially to try and look better than other women; and partially to attract men; partially to make themselves feel good about themselves. Face it, if a woman didn't look good, most men wouldn't give them the time of day. I've wanted a Camaro since I was 17, but lack of funds prevented that. With my daughter, I have to drive an Express Conversion van with a wheelchair lift. I get surprised looks from men when they see a woman driving something that big (especially when I fly past them). As for men "compensating," for some men, it's true. It's a case of a few men giving all men a bad name. Men like powerful cars. It's those few men who dump their wives, buy new clothes, get hair plugs, etcetera and THEN go out and buy a muscle car who give the rest of you a bad name. Those men ARE trying to attract a hot girl and who are trying to feel young. For what it's worth, I am not impressed by BMWs, Mercedes, Audis, etc.... If you have a wife or girlfriend who is giving you grief over buying a Camaro, just wait until you take her for a drive. If she doesn't understand why you wanted the car after driving in it, she never will (just like you will never understand why women like diamonds, roses, and clothes). Okay.......my husband says that if she doesn't understand after driving in it, you should get new clothes, hair plugs, go to the gym, and then trade her in for a younger model. (I will slap him later.)

in my neighborhood there's a few guys that Escalades, Expeditions, H3s, & EXCURSIONS WITH ABOUT 3" lifts....NOW... if you read where i live there is NO reason for those trucks, they are definitely not towing, loading, or hauling anything. IDK WHY THEY DRIVE THEM, but its is not for the normal reasons people do and believe me it gets really annoying especially since a few of our blocks are two-ways but are small enough to be considered one ways in most other places lol

I am getting it because I have always wanted a Camaro and now is my chance. I could care less what others think about that decision. If someone thinks I have a small wee-wee because I want one, that's their problem not mine

For me, it's time for a new car, what perfect timing the Cam's available. I want to take off but not drive fast consistently, i do have a 2 & half year i want to see everyday. I do in fact want to get back into a performance vehicle, the 4 doors & super quiet engines for the last 10 years have gotten old, I wouldn't mind a smile & waive from beautiful women every now & then, until they see the ring, and BECAUSE i've been married for the last 7 years, i don't need to make up for anything- - you don't use!! lOL LOL LOL OL OL

DELIVERED- 5/29/09 cars are like women, some are old, some are new, some get turned on easily some need a lot more help, some you just wanna drive into the river, some you can't wait to get inside of, some are expensive to maintain, some are low maintenance, however if you treat them right, you'll have her for the rest of your life..... |
