sorry all but I like the car. A cool car is a cool car regardless if it has a blue oval on it.

i may be misreading what you said.

all cars loose power from crank to tires

OEMs rate power at the flywheel(crank) as the industry standard.

in the aftermarket world we look in terms of to the tires.

as an example my 5.0 makes 412 crank hp stock, it made 375hp to the tires stock.

chassis dynos measure the power you put to the ground, autos soak up a bit more power than manuals but its not to far off usually

I agree, the Camaro team needs to step their game up big time and come up with something to compete with the Boss in the low $40s.

A power passenger seat and 45th appearance package for '12 is just not keeping up with the competition. Can't just keep carrying over the same tired powertrains year after year while the competition is bringing stuff like the Boss 302 motor to the market.

Where's our forged rotating assembly, cnc heads, race inspired seats, performance muscle car sounding exhaust... at $41K MSRP? And that would be to just match the competition, a year late. Aren't we suppose to be beating the competition?

And if you say - ZL1, reread the $41K part.

Totally have to agree that the new Mustang line up is leaving the Camaro line up behind. And the coyote motor really is an amazing engine. From what I have seen they still have problems that they have always had getting power to the strip though. But on a positive note.. The Camaro SS can be a sleeper and a snake killer which I like. Nothing like leaving a GT 500 with a view of your tail lights. It teaches them humility!

I don't know if I'd trade my Camaro for a Boss. Even though it is faster, I still don't like the styling as much. However, if I didn't have to drive it as a DD, and I'd have to pay no money to trade, the logical choice would be to get the limited edition. And it does come with exhaust cutouts from the factory. That is pretty bad ass. My real wish is that Chevy would produce something to compete in the same price range. If they were to do that, I'd trade my Camaro in a heartbeat. I am in love with the Camaro's styling. and right now there is no car I'd trade it for unless it was seriously an exotic or a 1970 Plymouth Cuda... And I'd probably only trade it for the exotic to sell it and buy another camaro and pay off my house haha. But I'd never sell the Cuda if I got my hands on one.
