I "drove" various farm vehicles (tractors, pick-ups, etc) pretty much from the time I could. I'm not sure how old I was but I remember having to stand up on the brakes/clutch & pull up on the steering wheel on tractors because I was too little to push them from sitting. My Dad bought my brother-in-law's Datson B210 for me (without asking me) when I was a Jr in HS so that was the first car I drove.

The first time I'd been behind the wheel of something was when I was two or three steering all of my dad's trucks as he went through them. I'd sit on his lap; I'd steer and he'd push pedals. Actually steered his truck home from the farms almost every weekend lol, that's about a 10 mile drive. I independently learned to drive on large framed John Deere crop row tractors at about 7. At the time, I considered that to be the bee's knees lol. After that, I stopped being really into "driving" and didn't try again until after I got my permit at 15 then basically relearned to drive in my dad's 06 F150 after he passed away.

Car? Started in with various farm equipment and an ancient International Harvester pickup with three on the tree. First car started as a basket case 70 1/2 Z. Spent a year and a half rebuilding it before I could drive it legally.

First car I remember driving was a 1974 VW Super Beetle. I drove a 1997 Dodge Intrepid Sport during my permit days (15 years old) and eventually got a 1978 Camaro Type LT as my first car.

I got to laugh every time I see a Corvair. Last summer, me and my dad went to a car show and my mom decided to tag along (also kinda ironic there were a bunch of stores right next to it that she went to as soon as we got there) . Well, we were walking around and she noticed a Corvair sitting there and goes "Hey, is that the engine in the trunk?".... I just say yup.... she goes "Why is there an engine in the trunk?".... I told her "Its a spare for when the one up front catches on fire" . They are kinda cool though, I prefer the coupe over the sedan... but we saw an 8 door Corvair Greenbriar van last summer.... ever since then, me and my dad have wanted one. Just kinda cool in a "what the heck is that?!?!" sort of way

First thing with a motor was a Suzuki 50 dirt bike at 4 years old. Then it was farm tractors. But the first car I drove was my 1998 Formula 350. I took my driver test in my moms 1990 Camaro RS.
