By far the sexiest Nissan...

Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

ok, update:

Some people might remember i talked about driving a 370z this weekend and being able to give a review...

well the dealer sold the car i was supposed to drive. prick. So review will have to wait... although i got to check out 2 GTR's when i went in... andddddd....

Its crap. The interior is OK. The Quality is OK. And the Car is overpriced... (the one i looked at was marked up to 92k). Id get an M3, Z06, Or CTS-V over this Any day of the week.

What REALLY impressed me (to the point of putting me on this bandwagon) was a Cyber Gray C6 Vette that was on the lot. The display Gauges for the Vette are amazing... best ive ever seen. Does anyone know if the Manual Gearbox is the same in the Vette as the Camaro?

The Manual Gearbox in the vette felt crisp, and sporty... would love to see that in the Camaro. I know it has the tremec or w/e, just not sure what M/T is in the C6.

Tremec supplies the tranny for both the 'Vette and the Camaro (SS only). In fact...I think the base Corvette even shares an identical gearbox with the Camaro SS. Identical as in power/torque ratings.

but does the C6 Vette have the same M/T gearbox as the Z06?

...no. I believe it's still a Tremec model, but beefed up from the normal one. Lemme check.....

EDIT:

http://media.gm.com/us/powertrain/en...2008/08car.htm
I love this site to death (^).

The Z06 does have a Tremec, like I thought. However, the gearing is altered and slightly less aggressive from the standard unit. (Do they call lower ratios 'shorter' gears?). It's also beefed up and rated for a higher torque input.

I like the Nissan....Great looking car....but I can't use a 2-seater....if I was going 2-seater, then I would go with the Corvette like Dragoneye stated earlier.

I would have posted a good C6 Cyber Gray picture... if i could find one. All the good High-Def pictures w/ Cyber gray were of the ZR1... Same color though.
