I wouldn't put them on my car (besides the fact that they won't fit on an SS) because it's not the look I'm going for, but the steelies look deliciously old school, very musclular indeed. I can definitely understand why ALOT of people woldn't like them, but like Scott said they're keeping the base price low so you can upgrade if you want.

Good god that LS has some bad fit issues.. was this a Pre CTF car or just a slap together? I cringed hard at that car.. SS was much better.

I guess im the only one that likes the black steelies in a rally sport, mad max, industrial sort of way. Dont get me wrong I like other wheels choices too, but if I had to scale back my budget Id be perfectly happy with the base.

Sorry about that. I guess I was thinking they only offered the RS on the 2LT and 2SS like they do the leather interior and 4 pack gauges.

I like the steel wheels. I have a 1976 Camaro which I have owned since 1984. I still have the original steel wheels which look very similar to these wheels. The wheel on that car now are Weld Wheel Drag lites, but I drove the car for at least 7 years with the original steel wheels. I think that is the kind of customer Chevrolet is building the Camaro LS for. Someone like me 24 years ago.

They won't fit your car.

Yup the steel wheels should only belong to classic camaros not the 5th gen. I know the design is some what retro but no steel wheels.

Just a thought, but what if the steelies had a center cap in 2011 (chrome or silver like the trim rings) like the first gens.

I kind of like them the way they are, but they need a little dressing up.

Good idea - also chrome lugnuts would be nice.

Why would the steel wheels not fit on a LT? Same brakes and suspension between the LS and LT.

It will fit an LT but not an LT with RS package. The RS gives you the SS wheels (different color) and as a result, changes the hubs to the SS hubs which changes the offset:

Gee, I don't think it looks all that bad for a base model.

Perhaps I am way out in left field, but, I can imagine a stripper package like that as an even more base SS model. But, hey I like the stealth look myself.

Nothin' better than smokin' a Mustang with something that just doesn't look right. Perhaps that would be something offered as a B4C package for Police duty and goofs like me.

Thanks, looks like I need to check out camaro5 evenmore because i am starting to miss things.

This changes things for me now i was thinking 2LT/RS but swap for the 1LT wheels. Looks like that won't be happening.
