Unless you seriously need to have the sun blocked then dont get peeved. You know you were trying to skate the law but you got caught. Big deal... If I get pulled over I am very compliant with the officer yes sir no sir kind of guy. If you did nothing wrong then nothing to worry about and if you did do something wrong its usually helps if you are nice to him or her.

I also respect cops for all the bullshit they go though, I Dads friend is a cop and when he 1st became one he was telling me that when cops go to resturants the employees (which are usually teens) put somthing in his food and got food poisoning he said he wasn't all that surprised becuase he knew he shouldn't eat at a fast food resturant and that his other cop buddies have been thouhg the same thing.

Now that sucks, You job makes you afraid to eat in fast food resturants. I respect cops but there are some that come with with funny stuff you just don't wanna have.

I have only had 2 experiences with the law on the road and many tales from friends and have concluded that most cops are aholes. I was polite and cooperative but both had to yell at me as they were walking up to my car. 1, rolled stop sign; 2, speeding (not much over the limit on a rural highway) so its not like I was on a high speed chase or anything. Sorry but I cannot have much respect for them if they have no respect for me right off the bat especially. No offense to any police(TAG), this is not meant to bash them because they do watch for my safety and have to put up with a lot of other things like tony said above ^^.

I couldn't agree more.

What I was annoyed about is NOT the fact that I got busted for tints, it was the fact that he didnt CARE that I had a legitimate medical excemption letter to say WHY I needed them. I aked him nicely not to cut the tint, but he said its tints or impounding the car.

He could have taken a breath, understood the exemption letter, made some calls and dealt with it like ALL the other respectable and considerate officers I have been stopped by in the past.

I know they have to do their job, but I wish he WAS doing him job properly on that day.

My guess is he was pissed at something and wanted someone to bash. Prolly hadnt been laid this week!! LOL!
