I watched this movie on my new flatscreen 50" HDTV this weekend for the first time. Out of all the Star Trek movies, I think this one was the best!

It is one of the best of all of them because it simply was funny when it needed to be (which was most of the time) and it pleased the young crows because it had young actors that acted cool as well as pleasing fans that love the Kirk, Bones and Spock relationship in a different yet same way. The only gripe I have with the film is it was too short. They needed another hour of exposition to explain the story of Nero perhaps a little better and have more of Spock Prime. The enterprise looked different but classic enough and they brought back the short skirts Something missing in the Next Generation.

Be careful, I don't know what it is about the setting of this movie, I just about thought my subs we going to explode! I had to turn down the power some so it sounded good.
