Because they don't get paid to. And they have enough trouble handling tool stangbangers and sally-ger owners getting their e-peens on here that you might as well repost links and leave them idle.

It's like 1000 threads of 4 posts, or 1 thread of 200,000 posts. Which one is easier to toss in order to free up bandwidth when you have the above to also contend with?

Like I said earlier, PWA I and II met similar fates because they LITERALLY crashed the servers.

The point is, they didn't have to delete the entire thread. The last Lounge has 143,000 posts in it, and they didn't delete it, they only closed it. That's almost 100,000 more posts than the LPW thread. If there was an offensive thing said, they could've just deleted that post.

Even that was closed but I pm'd Donna asking what happen to it as soon as I noticed it was gone and I think she pm'd one of the mods and requested to have it opened up again.

I remember her asking for it to be brought back. That's what I did about an hour ago. So far no responses..
