New Orleans was EPIC when I went there for Halloween.

Love to hear peoples personal connection to their cars!

I would honestly put the 1LS in only because they paint is fragile, but since it would be your DD it may not really matter.

My parents (and in their defense GCSAA) made the mistake of going on mardi gras.. they're in their 50s.

Lets just say there was some mental scarring from the vomit and bumpin boobies running around in the wild.

Well, not so much my dad but.. I keep getting "YOU SHOULDA BEEN THERE! THE GAZONGAS.. IT WAS LIKE VALHALLA!

How fragile is fragile? From what I've seen it's no different from my T/A's paint. Both have the factory spray and pray job..

It's probably going to be trade fodder down the line for a 2014-2016 Z/28 so I guess it wouldn't matter. However if I go with a 2LS and get an automatic..

Well it's going in the garage because my mom will try to steal that thing daily.

Mardi Gras will be going on but we will be closer to Family Gras so its more toned down. Plus we'll be pretty busy, so I may not even have time to party too much.

Yeah.. I'd have figured the GCSAA would have set the hotels up in the 'family gras' area..

Guess they didn't figure some of the Superintendents bringing their wives along.

Well if your roads have even some rocks on them you will be littered with chips in a few months. I have had mine for 2 months now and I have probably a dozen chips in my paint. Get a Clear Bra ASAP!

Well I appologize in advance if you come out one morning and the tires are bald and the tank is low.

Such a shame :( You should never be too busy to party!

Welcome to NW Ohio/SE Michigan. My T/A is in need of a sand and respray from the beak to the fender vents.

If in some wild an crazy universe we end up with an SS.. both my mom and dad would be too afraid to drive it. My dad had a 1979 Z/28. The ones with no balls. My mom, base stripper 69, 69, and a 77.

They've never driven anything with really more than 325hp (my dad's Silverado has an early LQ4 and it's never gone past 80mph). They're honestly afraid of the Trans Am too.

Wow, no I don't feel so bad. I feel like I am hurting my car by making it my DD. I'm sure the snow/salt isn't easy on cars there either!

Lol, thats so funny your parents are afraid of the Trans Am. As soon as I got mine my Dad flew out to drive it and said as I was with him, "let's see how high we can push it!".
