I couldn't do it if I didn't reload and my dept. has open ranges most every week. And sometimes, I get to go there and help as an instructor.

Get a good .22LR conversion kit for your AR. They will have the same point of impact out to about 25 yards. CMMG makes a good one and you can get one through Brownells too. They might actually be the same kit if I recall... All you do is drop out your BCG and put theirs in. The charging handle will ony come about halfway back after the .22 kit is in. Other than that, you are good to go. After removing it, run a boresnake or something similar down it to clean out lead. Put the 223/556 BCG back in and fire a few rounds to clear anything out of the gas tube (unless it is a piston gun and the conversion kits won't work in them anyway).

Niiiiice, gun porn. Sure ain't nothin' like a big ass barrell gun to get someones attention when that very audible "click" of the hammer can be heard in a moment of 'don't mess with me'.

Here's my upcoming new toy... Spendy, but I'm a WW2 German firearm nut so I gotta have it.

Since, I'm still learning about guns, I was reading about the Python and saw that it's a very accurate and pretty powerful, too bad it was discontinued. Looks like a must have.

The Colt Python is one of those "bucket list" revolvers that I would love to have...... ( but I still love my S&W's)

Well, went to the gun show today hunting for a Rock Island 1911. After finding two different places both selling them for a minimum of $475 (for the base model) I was getting a bit discouraged. Walked by a third area that had the Rock Island 1911s, looked at the price tag: $375!!! we have a winner! Here's my prize

Planning on at least getting some new grips and a beavertail for it down the road. A buddy and I are going to try to get out to the range early next week to see how she fires, can't wait!!

niiiice. The 1911 is ageless. There's no other pistol I've shot that even comes close to it feeling "right" in my hand.
