C sections are hardcore. My wife labored for 36 hours and still had to have one. Worst part was the incision opened up a week later. So had to pack it with gauze. I couldn't do it, had to have a nurse friend come over everyday. Something about shoving material under the skin seriously grossed me out. Yuck!!

Yeah, I was the same way. I had a plan set in mind and that's what it was gonna be period. I read the stuff but never really took it into account. None of my aunts, cousins, mom, or sis had a c-section either, and I was doing work outs everyday. Nothing bad and only 45 min max when I got to the end. However, I don't know if my moving so much caused Austin to be so active or what, but he ended up massively tangled in his u/c and was stressing with every contraction. So, they didn't have a choice. Nothing I did wrong other than having an over active bun in my oven, and he is still all over the place these days. Right now, Caleb is more active than Austin is so that's scary because it means he will be more so all over the place when he gets mobile!! AAAAAHHHHH!!!!

OUCHY!!! Your poor wife. :( I was lucky and only labored for 5 hrs, and healed right away. Was it y'alls last or did she brave another??

I don't blame you it's not easy seeing someone you love like that and have to work on them.

We're about 95% sure we're just having 1. Ruby has some special needs, and requires a lot if attention. Plus my wife turns 40 this year, and not sure if we want to risk it.

But, she wants me to get snipped for her birthday, so maybe that's the reason I MIGHT want another.
