Anybody know a place that carries helmets that I can actually try on? lol

hit any motorcycle shop/showroom. They will have many different manufactures and you can get an idea of what size you would need.

I would personally recommend trying them on and then actually buying from summit.

There are enough minor differences between motorcycle and auto racing helmets to justify actually getting an auto helmet.

Yep. When I was actively involved in competition racing I used a Simpson Bandit. Lower crest on top made roof clearance much better.
